During the 1980 campaign, the defining moment for President Reagan was in a New Hampshire debate when he refused to kowtow to a belligerent moderator. Fred Thompson had a similiar defining moment during Wednesday's debate in Iowa, when he refused the liberal moderator’s demand to raise his hand to say yes or no to a complex question. This was a great demonstration of why this country needs Fred Thompson.
